Cupcakes again

Last Sunday I didn't blog about my cupcakes. I made Creamsicle cupcakes that had an orange slice on top. They tasted more like a sweet muffin than a cupcake, but were still delicious.


Yesterday I got home from my track meet and went straight to work making cupcakes. It may sound funny, but I love baking them. It's kind of relaxing. This week was Smores. They had a gramcracker crust, chocolate cupcake, with a marshmallow topping. The marshmallows topping believe it or not was not made out of marshmallows, but had the exact texture and pretty close in taste.

Every week Jordan makes an overall judgement and continues to tell me his favorite. So far his favorite has been the Boston Cream Cupcakes, but this week the Smores came into first place. He really liked the taste, but what he liked even more was toasting the marshmallow topping with a blow torch. I guess there's something about boys and fire that I will never fully understand.
